WARNING: I did not make this game alone, for the full list of credits please check the credits in the game.

Sandstorm was probably the most challenging project I did so far, but also a project I learned a lot from. I came into the project near the end, and since Sandstorm was probably one of the most hyped projects at Gameloft at that time, I could feel a lot of pressure in the air. The big challenge was to learn a brand new 3D game engine in a very short time while working for the first time with a large team of Technical Game Designers.

My job was mostly about placing enemies and creating gameplay with scripts. I worked mostly on the two rail shooter levels in the game (mission 5 and 10).

Sandstorm was a hard job, but still, I was happy to do Sandstorm because first of all: FPS is one of the genres I like to do, and second of all: Sandstorm and its engine had more potential than anything I saw at Gameloft before.

When we finished sandstorm, I thought that the planning for the level design could have been better. With that in mind, I wanted to stay on this team for Sandstorm 2 and make this game better.
